Blogpost- and Future Blog Ideas

Hello my lovely readers,
for this blogpost I wanted to ask you what you would like to see on this blog in the future, what kind of posts etc. I also want to get to know you guys better and maybe you have some questions about me. So if you have any ideas, thoughts or questions feel free to comment below anything that pops into your head, and I would also love if you told me a little about yourself.

I also want to tell you what I would like to do on this blog in the future. When I get more readers and maybe more frequent readers I would like to do a competition, give away, a poll etc. Maybe I would also like to have a set day to post every week, I'm not sure about this last thing because then this blog might become a thing I have to do rather than a thing I enjoy doing.

That's everything for now, this post were just some thoughts of mine that I wanted to share with you all.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked it and be sure to leave a comment.

Florida 2015

Hello lovelies,
it's been quite a while since my last blog post, mainly because I've been very busy lately with school, Christmas stuff and I went to Florida for eight days!

Florida was fantastic, we went to visit my dad's best friend and his family, they live near Tampa in a lovely neighbourhood. It was a great time to relax (which I desperately needed) and to have fun! I went to a show at the local high school and got to see my friend (who is the daughter in the family) perform winter guard. We also went to the beach, did some shopping and just chilled in the nice weather.

I didn't shop quite as much as I had hoped for but I did manage to go to quite a few stores like Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, H&M, Bath and Body Works and some others.
A lot of the things I bought were gifts of some sort, but I bought some clothes and make up for myself and a candle from Bath and Body Works that I love. It's called Fresh Sparkling Snow and it smells so nice, it's not too strong and the scent is very light which I really like. Some og their candles are so strong and fill the whole house and the scent stays for a few days even (which is fine but sometimes you want a lighter scent). I already had the Pumpkin Pie one and Watermelon Lemonade and I think this one is my favourite. I bought Winter for my friend and I also really liked that one and when she lit it up it smelled so lovely, just like you were sitting by the fire eating clementines.
I also bought the cutest photo album from Urban Outfitters to store my Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 pictures.
Clothes wise I bought a few sweaters, some joggers a tee-shirt and that's basically it.
And for make up I bought the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and the Age Rewind Concealer, the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, a lipstick from the Rimmel Kate Moss line number 30 and a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

Over all I had a great time and got to spend some quality time with my dad and his friends.

Thank you for reading this blogpost, I hope you liked it and be sure to leave a comment if you did.

I also just want to point out that I'm not trying to brag by telling you the things I bought, I just want to share it with others so they can enjoy it as well. :)

Snow Days

For the last couple of days it has snowed a lot an it's been so cold as well, yesterday it went down to -10°C. Tonight there is supposed to be a snow storm so I hope all the snow wont blow away because it's very powder-y. I love the snow for multiple reasons, it brightens up the darkness of winter, it's a lot of fun, and it's sooooo beautiful! Here are a few pictures I've taken for the last two frosty days.

A Christmas-y Feeling

Hello,
today I just wanted to sit down and write about my day.

Today I went to visit my grandmother. My aunt and my cousin (who is a year younger than me) also came and we baked a christmas cake. Every year me and my grandma bake a christmas cake, just the two of us, but this year my cousin helped as well. While we were baking we had Christmas music on and it was the first time this winter where I felt so festive. The smell of spice and hot chocolate, and the family getting together made me feel very happy.

Me and my cousin also took a walk by the sea on our way to the shop and back. The sun was just about to set and the weather was very still and it looked so beautiful.

After my aunt and my cousin had left, my uncle, my (other) aunt and their two year old son (my cousin) arrived. We ate dinner together and me and my cousin watched Mickey Mouse, then I went home where me and my mum had a cozy evening.

Hope you liked this blogpost, I'm planning to do more of these in the future. Be sure to leave a comment.

Last Days of Autumn

Over the last few days I've noticed how all the leaves have fallen off the trees, which means autumn is almost over and christmas is getting closer. But happily I took some pictures before all the pretty leaves were gone.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

These chocolate chip cookies are soooo good, my grandma always makes them around Christmas but you can just as well bake them on everyday basis. I finally got the recipe from her and I decided to share it with you. They aren't those typical chewy chocolate chip cookies, they're quite crispy. But when you've had one you'll want another one. I made two batches and I thought the second one tasted a little better because I baked them slightly longer. I'll put pictures below of both batches and the size of the cookies.
I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do!

(I know many people don't use cup measurements and I don't either, so if you are one of those people then just use a regular mug, that's what I always do anyways and they taste just as good!)

For the cookies you will need:

1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup shredded coconut
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and coconut. And lastly, stir in the chocolate chips.
  3. Form 2-3 cm (depends on how big you want the cookies to be, you could do really few huge ones it's totally up to you) wide balls and put on to a baking sheet.
  4. Bake until edges are nicely golden/browned.
  5. Enjoy!

A Friend I Can't Wait To Meet

I can't be the only one that is still waiting for that "one best friend". It's not that I don't have any friends but I always feel like an outsider or that I'm being ignored. And I do have 2 or 3 really good friends who I guess I consider my best friends but I'm pretty sure they don't consider me as their best friend because they've got a BEST friend, who they tell everything and do everything with. This sounds a bit confusing but I hope you know what I mean.
I think I've always felt like this. I remember when I was younger I used to say to my mum like, " I feel like I have no friends" and "I want to have a best friend" and I feel like nothing has changed.  I did have three best friends when i was in 3-7 grade but we've grown apart and we're really different now.

I really want that friend who you want to do almost everything with, can tell everything and so on. That friend doesn't necessarily have to be girl it can just as well be a boy and it doesn't have to be just one person, it could be two, three etc.

And I believe that this/these friends are waiting for me somewhere and I will meet them. If it's this year, next year, or in fifty years I don't know but I will meet that/those friends and I can't wait.

That's all for now, comment below if you can relate or if you have found that one friend. :)

Second "First Blogpost"

Hello and welcome to my blog... again.

My name is Stella I'm 15 years old and I live in Iceland. I like dancing, baking, music and I'm also a big fan of cute things.

I decided to start this blog because I want to be able to share my thoughts and interests with people around the world and I also love taking photos.

I don't know how often I'll post but I'm hoping I'll have a schedule when I get more into this.

Bye for now.
